Escuela Bolivia will celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a dinner dance on Friday, Feb. 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) conference center, 4301 Wilson Blvd.
The non-profit program was established in 1998 by Bolivian parents to enhance the academic achievements of Latino students in Arlington. The organization sponsors a number of programs, including a Saturday school, emerging-leaders program, English as a Second Language courses and a family-involvment initiative.
